EE @ Texas A&M

I design PCBs, test hardware, and build robots — from a SiC inverter switching stage to a 6-DOF rover arm.

Electrical engineering student at Texas A&M, focused on robotics and power electronics. Two summers of hardware test and PCB bring-up at SVTronics. Now in the EMPE lab on motor-control hardware, and on SOMTECH’s MIRAGE rover arm.

  • Undergraduate research assistant — EMPE Lab

    Feb 2026 — present

Altium design and Code Composer Studio bring-up for the ECEN 442 DSP motor-control teaching bench, which serves 70+ students a semester. LCR characterization on an EV stator and a Nissan EESM, plus a drive-module teardown. Sampling FEM flux maps in Python and MATLAB and comparing surrogate models against them.

  • Electrical engineer — TAMU SOMTECH

    Aug 2026 — present

MIRAGE, University Rover Challenge. Designed the arm’s third joint — a non-invasive clamp that holds 5 kg at 1 m reach under 50 N·m — and led a 48 W slip-ring bench at roughly half the cost of COTS.

  • B.S. Electrical Engineering — Texas A&M

    2025 — 2029

GPA 3.923. Aggie Robotics, TURTLE, SOMTECH URC, Aggies Create.

  • TAMUhack OR lighting arm

    2026

Overhead surgical light steered by fingertip tracking. I built the 24 V power architecture for three DM556 stepper drivers — 3.3 V, 5 V, 6.8 V and 12 V rails — and did the integration. Vision and kinematics by Apoorv Agrawal, Sean Aiuvalasit and Molly Gray.
